What we collect
We collect your email address when you create an account, the medical bill documents you upload, and basic usage data (such as which features you use). We do not collect payment information directly - payments are handled by our payment processor.
How we use it
Your bill documents are used solely to provide the Unhyde service - parsing charges, flagging potential errors, and generating dispute letters. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models.
How we store it
Your documents are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We follow HIPAA-aligned security practices including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and audit logging. Your files are stored only as long as you maintain an account.
AI processing
Bill analysis is performed using Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic. Your bill content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle data sent through their API. We do not permit your data to be used for model training.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also request a copy of your data. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email. Continued use of Unhyde after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
